I’m going to go against the grain here and say DJ blue fluted on Oyster.
Jubilee is nice on a DJ but I feel like the oyster makes it more versatile.

I'm in the same boat. Currently daily an 114060 and also have a Speedy Pro, so I'm looking to add a DJ 41 towards the end of this year.
I'm going with a fluted bezel and jubilee, but can't seem to decide on dial color. For a while I was set on white, but have recently fallen in love with blue. Who knows lol. |

Not OP, but I went with the 114060 over the SubC Date because I fell in love with the simplicity of the dial. When comparing the two, everything just seemed "clean" on the 114060.
I have nothing against the cyclops or the date complication. It's just how I felt at the time. I definitely have days where I wish that I would have gone with a SubC Date, but they're few and far between. |

Nowadays almost any watch can wear with everything, so picks the one that you like the most.

Dj41 would be a great pair. Consider a sky dweller if it’s within budget.

Absolutely a SkyDweller if you can swing it. All the benefits of a DJ with a GMT and annual calendar.

My first choice would be a YM40 blue dial
Second a DJ41 blue dial on Jubilee with either smooth or fluted bezel |

Agree with DJ41. Get one with a jubilee to switch it up. Yes it's common, but classic and all you'll need.

Depends on the wrist size. I actually prefer the DJ36 over the 41. But understand trends are the 41 is hugely popular and apparently outsells the 36 significantly.

Love my Datejust, but have to say since we went on full-time telework it doesn't see much wrist time. If you rarely dress up, or if work is casual, it may not get much use. Just something to consider

I love my 114060 and never take it off. However, the blue DJ41 on oyster just pops. Only the blue dial for me. I really like the Pepsi but I know the DJ offers something different altogether. It is a perfect and classic combination. This might be unpopular but I know a stainless steel sports is now free ownership if you ever choose to sell. Especially the PEPSI but I totally appreciate buy the watch you want and love. I'm not wealthy but very very lucky to be able to consider buying another Rolex. But because I'm not minted it's hard to ignore the value and solid values of the GMT.
