Icon5 CK2998 Owners - Question for you

Hey all I am inquiring into CK2998 (Black&Red) version specifically. I used to own regular Speedy Pro and dearly miss it.

2998 is intriguing to me with its overall design. Hows the size on the wrist compared to 42mm Speedy? My wrist is 7.25" and I am hoping it wouldn't be too small.

Only having 2 watches my in my collection, this beauty would get a ton of attention and wrist time.

The slight difference in diameter between the Speedmaster Pro and the CK2998 is due mainly to the Speedmaster Pro's asymmetric case with crown guards. I think dials and bezels are the same diameter between the two models.

Yep, I believe this is correct. I think the straight lugged speedies are ever so slightly longer lug to lug but not as much as you’d notice. At least that’s my experience but could be optical.

Perfect, this gives me an idea of size as I recall my Speedy.

Do you own/owned CK?

I’ve had both CK’s, the FOIS and a few speedy pros. Great watches. Do yourself a favour and if you get one get a forstner or uncle seiko flat link for the full vintage effect!
