Is this oxidation on the 10 baton?
Hello all, I have just got this 1985 Datejust but one of the problems is what I think is oxidation on the beautiful linen dial. Anyone else suffered this? Is it curable?

Just wait 10 years till all batons turned to this nice patina, then it’s perfect...
I wouldn’t bother, it’s adding character to the watch. |

You know it's 1985, right? "One of the problems"? What else is 'wrong' with it?
It's not "curable" It's patina. Only cure is to steer clear of vintage and put the loupe away. Enjoy it!

Once it was there and now it's gone. Just simple fix with a cocktail stick apparently according to my new watch man. It's well gorgeous now.
