Serial 24...

Lol, you can see that the autocorrect is firmly thinking I use " bro " in every sentence.

Sorry about the typo

Going to need some clearer pics to properly evaluate the dial, which is where most of the value is for this piece. The MK1 dial is earlier than the bracelet and insert, so you will want to deduct for that.

Better pics if you really want the forum to weigh in.

Interesting to see that early gilt 1675 bezel on it.

That's about as good as I have for the images rn. This is MK1 right? Can the plots be so white given this is 1968?

All of the lume is strangely light in color. I don't know what that means, it just jumped out at me. Or maybe it's just the lighting.

Long "E" in Rolex, so probably early 1970s.

Late 1960s is also correct for this reference

What the heck is wrong with the kerning in the word "Rolex". You can see that the hands are strategically placed in some of the front-on shots to obfuscate it, but you can see the spacing is like "R O LE X".The O and the X seem to be slightly higher.

Also there's ageing on the date wheel but not on the hands/lume plots?

Dial looks fine to me, lume looks white due to photography I’d say. In person I bet it’s cream color. GMT hand looks relumed.

Can’t judge case shape too well from those photos.

Serial Being 24xx this is 1970 right?

This is long E dial.

Can Long E be in 1970?

Long E is fine for 1970. I am hoping that @southtexas is right about the poor lighting, and as he mentioned, the case condition still can't be judged from the photos. I guess the seller isn't being too helpful with photos, just sending the same angle over and over again.

I find the 1560 movement interesting based on the 2.4 million serial number. Normally you would find a 1570/75 movement with this serial number range. It could of had the auto winder replaced which could explain that discrepancy.

case looks good but still can't see the dial. Its a tricky pic to take but you need to take it at an angle outside with a lot of light to really reveal the dial. Also show us the back. Again, the bracelet, insert and I am not sure the movement note from Springer is significant but you may need to deduct for that, I don't know...

Might be the coolest insert I’ve ever seen.

As mentioned, need pics in natural light and close up at angles of the dial. Lume plots could be washed, but can’t tell without those type of pics.

My eyes too. Looks different, maybe even a little sloppy, compared to the lume on the other hands.

The 24-hour hand is relumed - very sloppy job I might add.
