Bluesey for sure! I'm very particular to that watch and also have a SS/WG, fluted, jubilee DJ. I love all the color.

I also want a black sub but would go for the no date version (14060, 114060). I like the cyclops, but already have it on my DJ so I'd want something different with a black sub.

But either way, I think both watches are great!

SS Sub

Tough choice but I'd go with the SS especially if you're concerned with resale value. Also seems like a more versatile option to me.

I am fortunate to have a 16613, 14060, 16610 (and 114060).

They all have different features.

Choose the one you like best.

Curious input, would the watch. It already be fully depreciated? I'm buying used.

16613 full set and serviced = peace of mind
And it’s cheaper!

I have both albeit different years. I’ve worn my 16613 daily since 2002 and it still feels special to me. I know many feel it’s too blingy, but I’ve never found this to be the case and never felt uncomfortable wearing it.
I picked up a 116610 in December and love that reference as well...if I had to give one up,I honestly don’t know which I could part with...
In your case, since the 16613 is a more complete set that would probably tilt my decision. I’m assuming you’re drawn to both references equally?

Was going through old.posts and realized I never updated. I ended up conditionally buying the 16610, on condition it underwent an rsc service and papered ok.

It went in for a spa, nothing changed - just a movement service. Even kept the flat 4 insert.

Been on my wrist since August or so, but with rsc service papers and 2 yr warranty. Couldn't be happier with the watch. As some pointed out, you can't wear the box.

Love the look and shape of this one much better than the maxi case, and even the slimmer 2020 c-sub. Really feels like a modern classic on my wrist :)

Interestingly the bluesy is still at the dealer unsold and last week he lamented he wished he had tons more stainless subs because it's all anyone wants. Made me feel I made the right choice for sure.

Good choice, I am a massive fan of the bluesy but taking age into account (and the no gold through the clasp) I would have gone for the steel out of those 2.
