Any Recommendations For Buyer

Hi,

I am currently in the market for a 1983 Submariner.

Considering the watch market is a global market, is generally everything available usually on Chrono24, or do some vintage dealers not use Chrono24?

Any other sources or recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Chrono24 is a good reference point to see the difference in pricing from different people.....some of the good websites is bobs watches, hqmilton.com, tropicalwatch.com

IMO, C24 is a good place to look if you're searching for dealer-prepped, overpriced, mediocre watches ... with a rare good example. Unfortunately, there is no single place to look for vintage watches.

Fast, good, well-priced. When it comes to buying any vintage watch, you can have any two of the three, but not all three.

Use the list of recommended watch dealers which set as a sticky

Get a few of the guys sites & bookmark them. I’ve also found that a lot of guys seem to list watches on IG before they hit their main websites

Not sure about Ireland/ I found the uk to be poor for vintage when I was looking/ purchased both my 1680 & 1665 from the US.

Jacek is a good guy and has some nice stuff at reasonable prices. You need to be quick though. The rarer stuff seems to go quickly.

Living in EU I'd not propose only ppl from the US...taxes and fees on top
