Case back 2080 on 116234
I came across a 2007 M serial 116234 36mm Datejust and noticed the case back stamped 2080.
In the Rolex parts list the 2080 case back is for the 16234, does anyone know which case back goes with the 116234, or if the case back was incorrectly replaced? Thank you

That's because when this list was published there wasn't an 116234. Rolex doesn't usually change all of their part numbers just because a model has been updated, and it's really unlikely that they would start making a batch of specific to a certain model only back.
Do you have reason to believe that this wouldn't be the proper part number for this watch?

The only difference between a 16234 and a 116234 is year of manufacture and a few very minor cosmetic changes, so its logical that the case back is the same no matter the reference number.
