Incoming Mitsukoshi....

Appears to be an actual 3570.31. Not sure if it was priced well, or all the mod versions were priced high, but I could not resist.
Been meaning to replace my old 145.012 which I regret selling (way too cheap btw) and also miss the panda look of my 116500ln (don't miss the watch 1 iota)
So I am super stoked !!!
Will post pics in a few days

Alas it was too good to be true.
I should have seen the warning signs, but I was just so stoked.
I found a listing with the exact same pics here
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=762303

Still it seemed plausible that Tazzy is in inactive and didn't reply to me, and did sell it to a dealer, and that the seller to me had an actual Mitsukoshi as he advertised, at least mentioned to me upon being asked

Without looking at the cards, Tazzy's listing is another mod I'm afraid. Bezel is not period correct for Mitsukoshi and box looks like the big Moonwatch presentation box.
Meanwhile Ebay listing title stated it's "built Panda".

It's just a mitsu mod right? not a gen mitsu?

part of me not keen on a mod, but on the other hand it's a really nice watch.

in further developments, seems the seller knew all along it wasn't a 3570.31.
i am going to go ahead and return it and maybe revisit in the future.

Yeah that seems a bit dodgy how the seller did that.

Here is my mod though that I did myself. I love it.

A real Mitsukoshi will only exist in a certain serial range and 300 specimens. It is a looker for sure.

Congrats on your purchase! I also modded my 311.30. It was a bit pricey to source the parts and find a watchmaker but well worth the time and money.

seems tazzy really had a bogus listing if it was a gen mitsukoshi for 7k.
but i am keen on this watch now and will most likely move forward on another mod (definitely had to return the one i received)
thanks for input all
i will post some pics when the replacement arrives

Omega limited these to 300 pieces....but happened to make a bunch of dials that hit the market and allowed these mods to happen. Great job Omega.

To get a non modified version will cost big $$$ and must include all boxes and an extract from Omega.

That sale post was quite disingenuous. Terrible.

What's wrong with a mod? If all the right parts were purchased and utilized, it's the same watch. Too bad those dials aren't available anymore.

I purchased one of the mitsukoshi dials when they were still offered by Ofrei, along with a hand set. Never got around to actually installing them, but it's one of the best looking mods out there, imo.
