Blanc Pain 50 fathoms
Hey TRFs I'm eyeing on this BP50Fathoms. I'm wondering if any owners or prev. owners got some advice Pros/Cons about this model? I have a 7" wrist and the problem with my local AD is that they haven't got one in-stock for awhile now and can't try them on prior purchasing. The manager said they're not sure when they can get one unless I put a downpayment for them to order one. Cheers for the input.

Honestly it’s the one watch that I really regret letting go. From time to time I contemplate getting another one. The only issue I had was getting a proper fit was difficult. I ended up needing 2 half links as they are slightly larger then I full link. My wrist for reference is around 7 1/4. Good luck with your decision. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

A cool watch and one with a lot of history. I have looked at them before and can not pay the freight for one. Several of our Trusted Sellers have ones listed on their web sites. Check them out.

Other people and you will think it’s 42mm even though it’s 45mm but you have to try it on to believe it. It works so much better in person than in renders that you will likely be pleasantly surprised. For example, the 4:30 date will not be an issue.

I've owned two Fifty Fathoms over the last 10 years and it is a superb watch, the Bentley of dive watches. The finishing is excellent and it can take a beating without showing scratches or dings. I'm a retired personal trainer and wore one for about two years in the gym while I trained clients and the watch never needed babying.
Eventually one of my clients, who loved the watch, made me sell it to him. |

Very comfortable on the sailcloth strap and wears way smaller than you'd think. A special piece and has that great movement with 120 hrs p/r. Lume is outstanding too.

I tried it on at my AD and fell in love. SS with sailcloth. I was surprised how well it felt and looks amazing. Pictures don't do it justice. Its on my list of watches to get. My wrist is about 7 3/4+ I like to wear my watches loose and it felt very balanced and comfortable. They did not have the titanium to try on, which I suspect will feel even lighter.

I tried one on my 7" wrist and was surprised at how well it wore. I agree with those who say it wears like a 42 MM. Lug to lug is reasonable as well with no overhang. Unfortunately, value retention is awful, so I would only consider one pre-owned or with a substantial discount from MSRP.
