Haha. The whole Rolex glut of availability isn't down to the watch suddenly being better. It's directly attributable to advertising via social media propelling then to popularity it's just some of the older forum members may not be engaged in that way.

I feel very fortunate as I read more members struggling to obtain this piece. I was able to secure mine after only 3 months with no prior purchase history (nor recommendation from any VVIPs)

Some times you are just in the right place at the right time so don’t rule yourself out.

I have been very lucky with Rolex, I just got this gorgeous timepiece two days ago. I told the owner of the boutique 3 months ago that I would love to have this timepiece if it's possible. I am not a big spender and never purchase any watch that I don't want.

It's totally my pure luck.

Clean watch; congrats. Not that I am in the market for one, but between the YG/green and WG/blue, I would take the latter.

Both are very nice timepieces.

I had actually thought Rolex d/c it, but was surprised to still see it on the website.

So, if I were in the market and wanting to pay MSRP, how unrealistic is it to get one through an AD without any major purchase history?

Please, never refer to this watch as the "John Mayer" ever again.
