Curious about why you preferred the white, please.

I initially owned a 16570 polar and didn't love the size. I have a 7.5-7.75" flat wrist and 40mm is about as small as I like to wear. I then got a black dial 216570 and really liked the size and comfort. At first I loved it (like all new watches) but over time I just didn't connect with it. Sold it after 2 years or so. Very capable watch and the floating hands do look nice. Came back around and went after the white 216570 and it just clicked. The stark white dial with black hands/indicies and just a hint of orange is great. It's a little different for Rolex in a very good way. Very comfortable, legible and capable watch that I rate very highly in my collection.

Excellent to know! Thanks. I’ve 7.5” wrists, but they’re round. A 1675 fit well, but I’m a bit worried that I’ll lose the extra wrist presence in virtue of the missing black bezel on the 16570 — so I’ve toyed with the 216570.

I’ll give it another think — but we might be on track with a 5digit polar. I’ve tried one on and liked it.

If you tried and you liked it then I think you know what to do. Both references, 16570 and 216570, are excellent choices. The polar dials definitely have a little more presence compared to the black counterparts.

I’ve not tried on a black dial yet, so I don’t really know how it’d fit. The 216750 seems proportioned because of the larger dial, but black is more dominating on the wrist.

That looks good to me. Try a black if you aren't sure (if you can find one...)

I'm a bigger fan of the John Denver variant.
