So the 335 is marginally slimmer. A little counterintuitive, given the need for the rotor (vs manual wind of 317) - but I believe the chrono complication on the 317 adds componentry that requires a bit more thickness.

I wound up going for the 335; I liked the balance that the "9" provides on the dial. and an extra few days of power reserve (while being auto) helps, when rotating watches frequently!

Seeing the recent push in ceramics on the AP side, the 317 and 335 are proverbial bargains. (sure, they're not PCs, nor are they open-worked, etc..)
