Got offered 3 watches.

I had an ad text me today and offer a two tone Daytona, two tone skydweller, and a seadweller 43. I want a stainless Daytona, just nicked up a blro less then a three weeks ago already have a 114060 & 16800. Guess I will turn them down and keep waiting for what I want.

Why not try the sd43 on? I assume it's SS?

I am thinking about the 43 and yes it is stainless, but I already have two subs that wear great.

Another vote for the SD43. As a 114060 and 126660 owner it definitely has its own character slotted well between the two. I've been waiting forever for one myself, and tempted to just go grey and be done with it.

SD43 is terrific although with you already having 2 subs not sure the SD43 makes sense.

Is there a question here? You just got a Pepsi 3 weeks ago, maybe slow down and enjoy the watch and the holidays.

You didn't mention your history at this AD, but this is a pretty common AD tactic. Offer what you do not want as a way to get you in the direction of that Daytona offer. I would expect you get offered full PM piece next. Really depends how much purchasing this AD requires for a Daytona.

Which TT Daytona? Balck dial? champagne dial?

I think the champagne dial TT is fantastic.

given the huge report of demand this is interesting. But then again two tone is very up and down in terms of desirability.

I agree. Buy one of those the. You will be offered a pm no discount next. They are making a bundle off you with no promise of the Daytona. They are also making sure you are not a flipper. Hard to flip a to sky d it sd43 or dj for a profit. People get fooled how easy it is to flip. They quickly find out they just can’t sell for the same price as a trusted seller with no seller reputation.

Get it only if you really like it, otherwise pass.

Better wait for the one you really want.

I personally would pick up the SD43 (amazing watch, ticks all the right boxes for me) and let the 114060 go.

SD43 is an amazing watch and great size if your wrist is 7+ inches. Probably a mute point now since the watch is most likely no longer available...been almost 10 days since your post.

i think a pass here may indicate your sincere desire for the watch you've stipulated. i say it's a good move towards getting that call

Power of Rolex - getting us to go into the AD more and consider watches we didn’t originally consider.

Good on you for the OP that held out. I know a number of us have strongly considered or pulled the trigger on watches we didn’t initially think about. I know I just did! With that said, I’m really happy with this purchase
