Congrats on ownership of one of these beauties. What year may I ask is yours?
Thank you for your thoughts on this, I appreciate it. I used to wear it often, but lately I've been more hesitant. As they continue to climb in value, I'm acutely aware of what's on my wrist. I believe mine is from 1957.

Congrats on owning one of these special references. That dial looks great, with a later hash insert. Not knowing the first 3 SN’s and judging from the large white lollipop seconds hand, it’s from later ‘56 to early ‘57. To my knowledge, they only had the white lollipop for a very brief period and changed during the latter part of ‘57 to smaller lume circles on the sec hand and from silver no hash tono hash insert.

Thank you. Serial puts it likely mid-1957. I’m not sure when they went to the small lollipop seconds hand and hash marks on the bezel. I keep going back to the pictures of yours. Wow!

. I’m blessed, fortunate and thankful original owner preserved it in this state. I think the switch was around SN corresponding to a III.57 caseback and perhaps coincided with the change from silver no hash to no hash. That’s just my educated guess.
