Anybody seeing yellow gold Daytonas in display cases these days?

Obviously, the green dial John Mayer Daytona is extremely difficult to find. But how available are the other 116508 dial options? Like the Neo Paul Newman dial, for example.

Nothing, PM Daytona's are pretty hard to find in stock. Need to put an order in and usually a few months out but that market is getting tough too.

Can you elaborate on “put an order in”? I thought all sport models including PM are allocation now.

My AD hasn’t been displaying them recently, but do have them in the safe.

It used to be retailer gladly put the watch in the case. Today the case is empty. If you want it you need to start talking and you will find it.

I've had a few brought out from the safe when I asked if they had any daytonas in stock...always on bracelet though, not oyster flex.

Where? There’s none around. They’re special order at every AD I have visited in the city, and you need to be invited to special order them.

I'm in the market for a YG Daytona, RG CHNR and Maybe a WG DD40.

To the Op,

I have not seen a single full gold model in any AD window for a long long time. Not even a YG Skydweller these days. The only full YG watch I see is a DD36 sometimes not a single 40mm anywhere. Everywhere its all DJs. That is all thats in windows and stuff like Cellini and Pearlmaster (which I saw once). All the small female models like 28mm, 34mm, 36mm are the ones inside the cabinets.

Exactly. To me he just seems like he's trying to downplay how easy it is it get full gold these days because he wants to buy one himself possibly for a lower price. It aint happening. Not in LA, not in New York and Not in Hong Kong. LOL

Full Gold is all the hype now.

It’s not a secret. There are three ADs in NYC: Tourneau, WEMPE, and WOS. If you have a good relationship with them, tell them what you want, and make an appointment to see it in person. If the AD thinks you are unqualified, you won’t get to see it. Simple as that.

It’s not hard at all. Again, just a few weeks ago, someone said it was impossible to find PM Submariners in NYC. I literally walked downstairs and there were two PM Subs sitting in the display case — not even in the back.

Another person said it was hard to find DDs. DDs are available at every AD. Every AD!!!

There is ZERO at WOS. Wempe had nothing when asked 2 weeks ago.

Yes. There was a yellow gold black dial sub sitting on display at Tourneau time machine around 1.5-2 months ago. Also there were 2 considered hard to get datejust jubilee fluted rhodium dial and white dial sitting in the case at tourneau Bryant park 3-4 wks ago

Thank you for corroborating the YG Sub just sitting in the case at that Tourneau location. And, yes, I have pictures of other PM Subs just sitting in AD cases.
