I think it also looks great with the blue dial.

This is the most beautiful timepiece for Tudor, it must be very popular.

Finally got mine today. It’s gorgeous in person. The dial looks larger, and wears smaller than I thought from pics.

Lume is decent but only on the hands.

This is one of the better photos I've seen on TRF. Beautiful watch!

Can anyone definitively confirm whether the new Tudor Royal bracelet has pins/collars or screws for the links? Thank you.

I guess there has to be one that disagrees. I think this watch looks like garbage. The band is a straight rip off of AP. The face is a cheap day date, and what the hell is with that bezel.

And there you have it, a critique as subtle as a fart in an elevator.

Subtle as a sledge hammer is more my liking. No need to sugar coat it. That watch blows

I’d have a look at some historical pictures of the Rolex Oyster Quartz if I were you and if you have the balls to admit you were wrong report back your findings to us. At that point you have a choice of either complimentary custard, ice cream or pouring cream to accompany your humble pie.

This is a 1996 model, though I,believe they were produced from the early 1970’s till early 2000’s. Looks more like Tudor are drawing upon their Rolex connection than having to ‘rip off’ AP.

I generally like the design and I just read that this is considered an entry-level Tudor. Always considered Tudor to be a watch people buy if they can't afford a Rolex. That being said I like the overall design of this one- EXCEPT for the rounded ends on the hour and minute hands. I prefer square cut or points. The rounded ends of the hands makes the watch look a bit child-like IMHO.

That being said, if you like it, get one and wear it in good health. :)

This is the ONLY one I have seen with square cut ends on the minute and hour hands. The rest are all curved. Is this an older model?

Most illuminating, have you managed to read up on the Oyster Quartz out of interest yet to pass comment upon your naive statement that Tudor ripped off an AP design?

You are correct on the Oyster Quartz, one of Rolex's best sellers? and arguably the biggest piece of crap they have ever put out. You guys want to piss 2K on this garbage, more power to you. It's an AWFUL watch, period. You might as well strap an Invicta on your wrist cause anyone outside of this forum will think you are wearing one.
