Watch case back replacement?

Is there anything at all on modern case backs, whether they be on the stainless steel Daytona or otherwise, that is different from me service case back?

In other words, is it possible to discern from a original modern case back versus a service case back?

Good question.

Am contemplating replacing the case back on my DJ.

Can anyone answer?

Not sure but there is nothing on the outside to indicate a service exchange a case back is just a case back if changed will not devalue the watch.
