Sub/Date 16610 lug holes 90s : Advice needed

Advice needed ...

Watch,16610 Sub/Date, in its lifetime was converted to TT,by someone .
Buyers buys watch .
Wears watch.
Sends to RSC for service and receives it back as a "new" ss 16610 ....

RSC replaced the following :

New bracelet/stickers still on
Crown
Crystal
Hands
Dial
Bezel
Black bezel aluminium insert .
Movement serviced with 2 year warrantee/Service papers .
Original box

Its like a brand new 16610 lug holes from the 90s.

Price is good .

Good buy ??

Price is at the very low end of market pricing for 16610 from the 90s.

I am not a fanatic that pretend that all the parts of the watch are 100% coeval, but I assume that new bracelet is a SEL model and for sure the dial is not Tritium; if it is fine with you to have a years '90 lug holes watch with dial and bracelet of the years 2000, you will have a sort of NOS 5 digit watch.
Only other problem I can see is that if one day you will sell the watch some potential buyers will not look at it.

The new bracelet looks like the 90s version ,so thats correct.
Yes,no T25 dial ,its a " swiss made " dial .

If it is not a problem that the index of the watch will not become yellowish and you are not disturbed knowing that dial is years 2000, you will buy a NOS watch for the price of a pre-owned.

OK,so this has been figured out now ...

Its a 16610 ,around 1993,that has been restrored to perfection by RSC , with the correct for age sub bracelet (new) ,crystal, hands, dial, bezel, black aluminum bezel insert ,crown .

The dial is a super luminova "Swiss Made" dial and not a "Swiss <T25" because RSC wouldnt have that to use anymore .

" Swiss < T25 " dials were used to 1999 on the 16610
Super luminova " Swiss Made" dials from 2000 to 2010.

Well, if you intend to wear the watch, it’s as close to a NOS as you can get. It’s a fantastic watch and functionally speaking it sounds like a new watch.

Now, if you plan to flip, trade, sell etc. understand you may take a hit and if you are concerned about “value” or “selling price” then I would avoid it.

If it’s just to wear and you are fine with it go for it. I prefer watches that have a bit of personality personally, but can’t fault it either for being perfect per RSC, wear it as it should be and make your own. It’s a watch to be worn like it should be, and enjoyed for sure.
