Need some help
Hi guys, need some help with your knowledge. I have been offered an AP Royal Oak Offshore Alinghi Polaris. Condition is almost perfect but On the dial I thought the 12 o’clock should have the N but the one I tried is S. any suggestions on why this has happened? Supposedly it was suppose to be serviced a few years ago and think the price is good. Any help will be appreciated, thx!

Maybe I'm confused, but isn't the knob on the left side of the case used to rotate the inner bezel ring to whichever orientation you want?

I think you are right VogelPhoenix. I was just googling and found how this watch works. Sorry to ask a dumb question but I appreciate your quick suggestion. Any thoughts of this watch? I have a Rolex SDDS and a TT date just at this time. Have wanted to add an AP to the personal collection and think this looked good on my wrist when i tried it. But open to comments from you guys. I like the colors of the dial but I don't love the dial overall, a bit busy and I don't like the layout. With that said depending on the price I would enjoy wearing it. |

In this price range I would personally go for the black dial diver, but the Polaris certainly looks more interesting and is less similar in purpose to the SDDS.

Let’s say $23k CND is that a good deal? At first glance it didn’t catch my eye and also thought the dial is a bit busy but when I tried it on it felt nice and looked better then I would imagined. Also not sure if I would ever use those features on this watch as I am don’t do boat racing or even have a boat :(.
