On my 14790, the crown looks like it protrudes out a little too much. The threads look clean, it just won't screw down any further and there's a tiny gap where the crown just doesn't meet the case.

My ROC never had this issue. I also had a 15202ST and it did not have that issue, either. Might make sense to reach out to APNA Clearwater.

i'd send it in for servicing but i'm told they'll ask me to replace the crown, and in which case, won't be original to the time period if they throw on the newer crowns with the AP logo on them
