Finished my 1965 Tudor 7928 Project
It took a few years but i finally was able to finish my Tudor 7928 project. Tall order considering that it had a refinished dial and no bezel. Persistence paid off but also quite lucky to have found a correct chapter ring dial in fair condition.

Looks great. So you kept the hand stack and changed the dial? What else did you change?

I bought a period correct bezel but i am not so sure about the insert. If its a 1965 then maybe a long 5 will do? I have one in my parts bin. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Was this project from eBay? I think I remember it from a couple of years ago. How did you find the dial? I really like the dial. You will most certainly like this one as you can just wear it anywhere without concern. These are the best

Not from ebay but a local purchase. Another gamble that paid off. Actually i bought a dial from ebay a few months back but the seller backed out at the last minute. This dial i got just landed in my hands unexpectedly. A week ago my watchmaker sent me a photo of the dial in case i needed it. He got it from a fellow watchmaker who was doing some cleaning in his shop. Quite lucky to say the least. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
