Nepalese Mingma Gyalje has managed to climb to the top of K2 without an oxygen cylinder, with 9 other compatriots, who did use oxygen cylinders.
This time Rolex can not "invent" that the climbers wore Rolex, as they did with Tenzing Norgay and Hillary who wore a Smiths watch.

Congratulations to the 10 Nepalese Sherpas and especially to Mingma Gyalje. My new hero.

Many of the people who have managed to climb K2 (much more difficult than Everest) have done it without supplemental oxygen. The extraordinary accomplishment in this case is that they are the first to do it in winter.

Nims Purja was part of the team so I expect he was wearing a Bremont. Impressive achievement by the team with K2 being notoriously tricky to climb even in the best of conditions.
