Sub vs Daytona??
I currently have the 116613LN, but I am adding another watch to my collection and I am thinking of the 16610 sub or the 116523 daytona. I'm hesitant about getting another sub because I already have one and I don't have a daytona, but I love subs so much. Any advice?

Since you already have a Sub, I would personally go for the Daytona.

I have both, but honestly diver watches are more my thing. I'd rather have 5 Subs than a Daytona.

Have you considered a GMT?
Basically sub looks but with the plc bracelet looks less of a tool watch, the Daytona is too small in my opinion

You already have a sub. I personally would add something different because I like variety. But that’s me. You love subs and may value that more than variety.

Assuming you’re a girl perhaps a daytona would look great dur to the slightly smaller size

Sub, Daytona then perhaps a GMT later. Ideal three watch collection IMHO

I will say the Daytona just so you have other options to choose from!

I have a SubC and a DaytonaC. If I had to choose / keep only one I would choose the Sub over the Daytona every day of the week and twice on Sunday. The Sub is more functional day/day for me.

If you want another Submariner then let that be what you get.

Have you considered one of the LV subs or maybe a bluesy?

Do you have a use for the chronograph complication?

Consider the following; a submariner has a chronograph function in the bezel. It also comes with a date and superb glide lock clasp.
I’ve been, for years, against the submariner. Now I want nothing else. |

The truth is that you know that you are supposed to get the Daytona, but your love for Sub is much, better do what Pleases you.
