The DD40s I've seen only have 750 engraved on the rear of the lug.

Both of mine also just say "750" and NOT "Au750"

Post a picture. Maybe the new 2020 dated ones have "Au750". My DD40s are dated 2016 and 2018.

Rolex has started stamping au750 on their gold pieces as one of the four hallmarks under the lugs.

Which year did that start? I also have a YG 116618LB dated August 2020 and it also only shows 750 not Au750.

I just started seeing it on gold pieces in the past 3-4 weeks. I’m thinking Rolex started adding it in late 2020 production.

Definitely some still at ADs with just 750 (yg ones I mean). Of course, who knows when they got there.

I was wondering, I also noticed that some YG DDs also didn’t have the extra crown at 6 o’clock. Does anyone know if Rolex is still delivering DD40s without the extra crown (mk1 dials i guess)?

Thanks

Some of the ones David SW has on his site say Au750. Example: https://davidsw.com/shop/watch/rolex...hocolate-dial/

When you say dated Nov 2020, do you mean sales warranty card dated nov 2020? I think with random serial numbers that one can’t confirm manufacturing dates? (Which makes me wonder about new day dates with mark 1 dials.)

It's not just Day Dates and indeed not just YG & RG, my smurf 12 months old, also has the 750 stamped on the back, never realised this myself until I read this thread. Every day is a school day, as they say.
