Out of the list, probably the DJ. But that said, I say any which one works. If you have gold cufflinks, wear either of the TTs, if silver, all are an option, IMO.

Any from your list would be fine. I've worn my GMT II, SD, Sub Date, DJ and Explorer 1 with various tuxes, suits (both 2 and 3 button jackets and double breasted many years ago), and also with sportcoats (both 2 and 3 button variations)

This formal enough for ya? Anyhow, I think a Datejust or the Date are the most appropriate, though you don't see too many of the Dates around.

Most of the sport watches are fine with a suit, something with a black leather strap would be best with a tux.

Exactly! While none of the watches on your list are really "dress watches", the DJ is The best choice. Why not get a nice black leather strap for your DJ? Gator or croc even better. It is fairly easy to change out the Oyster bracelet for a strap and that will go a long way to dress up the watch. Takes away some of the bulk and adds a more elegant look.

If you dress formally a lot, it sounds like a great excuse to by a fine dress watch.

Preferably a YG or WG watch on a nice black croc strap....or no watch!
Wearing a Sub/GMT/etc with a tux is comparable to wearing white socks with a tux.
But I guess formal etiquette these days has gone out the window.

Although I don't own 1, I think a TT 16613 fits the bill.
