116610LN or 14060
Hi Guys,
I have been given the opportunity to purchase both of the sub models above. As this will be my first Rolex purchase, I’d really appreciate some people’s opinions on the 2. I like the slightly smaller size of the no date 14060, but I do like the date version too. I suppose it comes down to what will hold it’s value as there is a good chance that the one I buy may not stay on my collection forever as I do like some of the older GMTs, but if I love it, I will keep it. |

I would go 14060. Not a fan of the maxi case it looks too square. I had a 14060 but had some issues with it after a month of owning and was offered a 114060 instead of the 6 week wait. I always regreted it and wish i just waited for the repair . I sold the 114060 a few years after and brought a 16610. Pre ceramic are the nicest in my eyes.

you cant go wrong either way. for me i like the chunkier case, ceramic bezel, glidelock and bracelet. the differences between the bracelets and clasps are not even close.
i would say the 14060 has more character than the 116610. if it were the 114060 i would go with that over the 116610.

Both great pieces. I love my 14060m and have no plans to ever let it go. Really depends on personal preference with case size and dial. Though the bracelet may be a big factor to also consider. Good luck and post pictures once you decide.

Such different watches.
I guess it’s starts with date vs no date. Do you have a preference? Next, I’d go with the one you think will suit your sense of style and which will wear more comfortably on your wrist. Good luck |

Buying both sounds like an opportunity if the price is right.
