I'll email you when I get back to the house this evening.

Thanks, I look forward to it. The owner of my company and Moretti are good friends, but his budget exceeds mine by quite a bit.

Just imagine, an F series stainless steel submariner date went for $4250 in 2004. It now retails for $6000. It only cost the AD $2550 if they aquired it in 2004. Even with a 20% off of today's prices, they're still making quite a profit even if you equate inflation...
Funny you should say that. I was at an AD in downtown Fort Worth on saturday, and they had an Explorer II, retail $5925.00. She was surprised when I told her they had been sitting on this one for quite a while. She said "why do you say that?" and I said "because it has the hologram on the caseback and no rehaut so that puts it at late 2005 or early 2006, D series". She said "wow, you know your watches", and in the end the best offer she could give me was $5000.00 For the D series!

Guess every AD is different. My AD is pretty upfront with me..."yea, it's been sitting there for a while...I give you 20% but you have to pay for shipping.." I always try to deal with the owner or manager and skip the sales person. There seem to be a different mind set when you deal with them versus the sales person.

Her original offer was $5300.00. Not very good for a watch that's been sitting there for 3-1/2 to 4 years.

I think the SS GMT IIc is a better choice any way
