Changing dial on a DJ

If I want to change my slate dial DJ to a blue dial, can I just get this done through my AD? I just got the watch a few months ago.

If not warranty gets voided

I know that where I live they will send it to the service centre and they will switch the dial for another colour - regardless of how old it is or whether a service is due. The charge is around $800.

I'm not sure where you get the warranty bit from. If the RSC does it they're not going to void their own warranty.

You can do it through your local Rolex service centre or AD if it has a certified Rolex watchmaker in house. Since your watch is so new you should be able to forego any service and just pay for the parts. And it does not void the warranty if done through RSC or AD, so not sure where the other poster got that from.

I had the dial changed on my DJ41 last week, went from white to azzurro blue, local watchmaker did the job in around an hour while I waited, they charged £100, it’s as simple as that, warranty card doesn’t state dial colour so remains unaffected and also increases it’s value should I sell due to the demand for the dial colour

Can do, just use genuine dial and an AD.

I’d only use a genuine dial from a trusted seller but you don’t need to get involved with the cost and wait time of an AD, any competent local watchmaker can do a perfect dial change very quickly and cheaply

About to get this done when I send my DJ36 to RSC NY for service. They quoted a bit over $400 for the new dial and will keep the old one.
