SD43 wears like a Tutor GMT?
Hi everyone,
I’ve been debating getting an SD43 for a while now. I was wondering how the SD43 wears in comparison to a Tutor GMT (bracelet)? I currently have a GV, Hulk, and Tutor GMT in my collection. The GMT is about as large as I think I can comfortably wear (height). Do they wear about the same? I’m also interested in a white Sky Dweller but with Covid I haven’t been able to test drive anything. Can anyone chime in? Thank you and have a nice weekend! ![]() |

The SD43 wears, size-wise, the the Tudor Pelagos. The Pelagos is titanium though, much lighter. Of the watches you have, the Tudor GMT is most similar to your Sub.

To me the SD43 wears bigger than the TGMT. The SD43 is a big watch.

I’ve had both. I think the SD43 actually fits better. The Tudor always was awkward to me with how thick it is relative to the bracelet snd case.

I have experience with both. I don't own the Tudor GMT anymore. To me they wear different, the SD43 is bigger and heavier, both were very comfortable on my 7.5 inch wrist. The side of the Tudor GMT visually appeared thicker while because of its design, I believe the SD43 in fact is taller and with more pronounced case back and a heavier in comparison with the GMT.

I find I can wear 15+mm-thick watches without too much trouble, (7-1/2" wrist), but they won't go under a shirt cuff. My 12.5mm Sub mostly will.

Bracelet was the biggest comfort difference for me. I was in between Tudor's micro adjustments, but all things considered it was a relatively comfortable watch considering the proportions.

Have both, my TGMT is on a sienna leather strap. On the wrist the Tudor look bigger and sits higher than my sd43. The SD43 sits lower because of the case back design which sinks in the center of my wrist making the case looks like a sub! Both are extremely comfortable. SD43 under a shirt cuff. I have both and this has been my experience. I think the Tudor is a little more comfortable. Seems a little lighter and the case back is a little flatter. The SD definitely looks larger looking straight down. The 2mm difference is pretty obvious. From the side the SD looks slimmer and more refined due to the lack of the "slab sides" profile of the Tudor. I really like both however. Sent from my Galaxy S20 using Tapatalk |
