SD43 squeaking

Hi gang, odd question: I just got my new SD43 from the AD last week, my first Rolex, and the bracelet squeaks. Is that normal as you break it in, or do I need to bring it back to the AD to be fixed in some way? Thanks!

My DJ squeaks too. Doesn’t really bother me so I left it.

If you don't want the squeak give it a warm soapy bath.

Normal. Freaked me out too with my SD43. The sound was put in there by the factory so you can be sure that your watch was not pre-owned. Freaky as the sound from my bracelet did not start right away. It took a few days and lasted a few days. It's dead silent now as if to say "you have your confirmation that you got a new watch".

It squeaks, it means a brand new art. In a few weeks there will be a blissful silence.

Enjoy your squeak while it lasts. Once it's gone you will never hear it again - on that watch.

Had this on an overseas bracelet and it worried me until I realised (I.e. panic googled) it was normal. Went away after a couple of weeks.

Just wash the bracelet with some soap and water. It will go away!

Reminds me of when I got mine. Still squeaks. Will definitely miss it. In fact today I wore it just to see if it still did. I was afraid it had gone away.

The squeak is awesome. You’ll yearn for it when it’s gone.
It’s the Rolex equivalent of new car smell.
