Edition 1 is good, but not worth near what it's going for on secondary. Gave it a pour on Christmas to break in new harmonie glasses.

Yama 12 in particular has been continuing to rise in retail price. Lately I've seen it around $120+ and for me it's a pass in that range. At $100 it's worth it.

Totally fair. I'm a fan of it personally, but I can see where it wouldn't appeal to others. I just snagged an extra bottle of it since it seems to be going out of style around me ($160 a bottle!).

Wow! I’d stock up if I were you, best price I’ve found in the Bay Area is 150.

Great choice, enjoy! If you like this, try the RC6, their 2019 release- even better, IMHO

It was enjoyable, super smooth for 66%. I didn’t cut it with water. A bit of spice from the rye though. Very flavorful!

I'm tired of searching and overpaying or my normal go to bourbons from 5-10 years ago.

What's the best, easily attainable bourbon under $75?

Some of my favorites which you should be able to find most if not all the time:

Old forester 1920 prohibition style or statesman
Russell’s reserve single barrel
Noah’s Mill
Four roses small batch select
Jack Daniel’s single barrel barrel proof
Maker’s mark cask strength
