FS: 1937 Universal Geneve Compur Chronograph 18K Yellow Gold

I’m selling an 18K yellow gold Universal Geneve Compur chronograph, here are the details:

Dial: Excellent condition silver dial that shows light wear from age with blued steel hands.

Case: Excellent condition 34.5mm 18K yellow gold case with serial 664,xxx that has taken on a strong rosy hue and still retains its factory finish. The watch comes mounted on a vintage leather strap.

Movement: Universal Geneve manual winding calibre 285 is in good operating condition with all functions working properly. The service history is unknown.

Other: There is a lovely engraving on the case back that says "Isotta Fraschini". Isotta Fraschini was an Italian luxury car manufacturer that was founded in Milan Italy in 1900. I'm told that this watch was a gift to the mayor of a town in Puglia Italy from the car manufacturer.
