A staged sale is where someone buys the accessories to make it look like a real watch sale. The booklets, boxes, paperwork, hang tag, etc. can all be bought and mixed with the fake watch to make it look even more legitimate. The watch here was clearly a fake, the paperwork was fake, the brochure booklet had the cover facing down so that you could not tell it did not go with the watch, there was no box, no hang tag, etc., so, the person did not have all of the parts but, enough to still try to pull a big scam.
