Weight of a President band link
Can anyone tell me the correct weight, in grams, for a President bracelet link for modern bracelet (e.g. 118238?).

Thanks you for taking the time to respond.
Wish I could say "sure" but I don't know or I would not have asked. I have a couple for sale and someone told me that earlier links (say for a 1803) were not as heavy as the later ones. I am at a loss to "prove" they are correct without the "exact" weight. |

Mine from a 118238 weigh 4g but my scale is prettt terrible for this - does not display any decimal places. In fact depending where I place the scale it will sometimes say 5g. In other words, between 4-5 is a safe bet. I believe the semi hollow older links will weigh way less.

Thanks, perhaps it's "good enbough for rock and roll"! I'll weigh the ones I have and let you know, my scale is pretty accurate.

Another tip will be browsing ebay listing. Some of the listing indicates the weight of the link. Hope this helps!
It's crazy how much RSC wants for 1 link. |
