Need help reading old papers

The guarantee paper has my serial number and the movement number(matches the serial from the watch, and matches the movement number from the chronometer paper) on it. The chronometer paper doesn't seem to have my serial number anywhere on it, but instead it has a 1708*** number on it. What is this number for, and should my serial be on this paper somewhere?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks :)

The 1708... is the certificate number. The serial number is usually punched, stickered, typed or hand written above the movement number. (In that yellowish rectangular area.)

Movements are COSC tested by themselves, uncased, and do not have any case of model number associated with them.

When they put the parts together, they just call up a movement (which could be far different in manufacture date from the case), marry them up, and out the door they go.

I see the rectangle, but there is nothing in it. Is it possible they didn't put it there, or forgot it all together?

Ah ok, that makes sense. I feel relieved, I was worried they sent me the wrong papers, or worse, doctored papers. Thank you for clearing that up.

Case number is generally on the papers.
