Deposit placed for 321 Ed White!

Just placed a deposit for a Speedy 321 Ed White at the local boutique!

Now the wait begins!

Was there initially to try the new 3861 moonwatch but after handling it...I am convinced its the 321 that I'll really enjoy!

Hope to report back with an incoming in the near future!

Easier since Omega is allowing customers to order it. Snoopy 50 lists are closed and you can’t place a deposit right now. All you can do is register your interest and go on a waiting list for the next batch.

snoopy by far! heard from my boutique they are controlled by HQ on the allocation. Ed white would be easier but there is still a wait time!

yeah i heard from the boutique manager about 600 ppl registered interest at his branch on the day of the announcement and so far only allocations are still in the single digits.

The snoopy is really cool but to me the Ed white was more desirable

I’d agree with this. The snoopy is ok, but I can see me tiring of it over time. I don’t expect that will happen with the 321 given it’s classic look making it far more versatile.

What deposit is required? I wanted to ask before I ask my ad. Anybody can order this or do you have to have prior sales? Pretty new to omega world as I’m getting tired of rolex and I refuse to pay grey market. I really wanted the snoopy and ad has told me I’m on waiting list as deposit is already done. So pretty sure I have slim chances on that so now I’m getting fond of this Ed white. But just wanted to get some details before I get my hopes up. I’m in no hurry but I would like to know that I will eventually get it as I didn’t get that feeling with snoopy.

I couldn’t tell you about the deposit - it varies from country to country. Here in the U.K. it was zero. I’ve seen posts from some in America where they’ve asked for 50% or full payment.

A deposit will effectively guarantee you a watch, but there will be no set time for that to happen - more when the mother ship shoves them into their stock. That’s been slow so far, and they are not making that many, but you have to think that as the world moves out of various lockdowns there will be more stock dribbling out.

It differs, I had to put down a 30% deposit. Where as at other boutiques they are not even accepting deposits. So its on a case by case basis I suppose! Maybe I lucked out!

Thanks. I put my name down and my ad didn’t ask for deposit as they don’t know when my turn is up but it looks like it’s doable compared to snoopy. She said roughly two years for 321 but as long as there’s hope. Lol
