Tim Mosso wouldn't suggest that on anything less than a 16 cm wrist.

Obviously not. But it depends, if you like to wear car steering wheels on your wrist, yes.

I did the same. Haha. The sd43 was not available at the local ADs.. so I tried on the ym2 before buying the sd43 from DavidSW few years back.

I cannot tell u if sd43 will work for u since what looks good to u will be different from me and others.

But here is what the ym2 and sd43 looks on me (7.25 round wrist)

If the AD has to take off more than 2 links, then the SD43 is too big for you. I have a YM2 Stainless 44 also along with a SD43. That YM2 looks waaaaaaaaay too big for you. You probably had to take 2-3 links off it to make it fit eh???????

Not at all, but I've sold one for that price and have a couple of buddies who have bought from other sources at that price.

I think it'll fit perfectly on you. But then again you should make the decision.

The YM silver metal bezel makes the watch bigger than it actually is. Even with the 44mm YM, the lugs are not overhanging, I think you could actually wear not only the SD43, but the DSSD as well. Both of these have black bezels so they look smaller on your wrists.

Unfortunately it's big on you and on my wrist too.

I've recently learned 40mm is my sweet spot for watch size.

It looks to me like the SD43 would sit right at your wrist limit, no overhang.

Try one on from a brick and mortar trusted seller if you can. That's the only way to know for sure. Alternatively, you could buy one sight unseen from an online truster seller with a return policy allowing you to try the watch home and send it back with no questions asked if you think it's too large.

Yeah, definitely try one on, and maybe go with someone who’s opinion you trust.

Any grey dealers nearby?

In the last year, I have seen the TT version at several AD’s. You may be able to find the TT to try on with less effort.

BTW, the TT version changed how I felt about the SD43. She is a beauty.
