I just picked up a black Daytona. Funny thing I was dead set on the white, when I saw it at the store I was still set on white, then I tried it on. While I preferred the white I felt black just looked better on me. The white is more casual the black can be both casual and for dress up. Now to decide..... when going out with the wife on date night, the new Daytona or my YG President? :-)

No question here- black dial. Recently picked one up and don't regret it at all! Love the contrast.

I own a white dial Daytona. About 10 years ago I swapped out with my friend who owned a Black dial for 1 month. We both agreed after a month that we wanted our old watches back!

So now I guess I need to find a waiting list in the UK that is less than 5 years so I can get a black one now....anyone got any ideas lol

Btw, for those of you in the US, whats the typical waiting list there?

....and that was in 2010. Phew! 5 years waiting even then in the UK!

Zenith I would go white or patrizzi.

....and 2.5 years in 2015. If anything, the Daytona seems to be available a lot sooner and with less wait time now

Yes, this thread was started ages ago but I was able to read a JJ post again. I'd go with the white but haven't seen one in person.
