6-3/4" wrist here, and I wear everything from 28mm to 42mm and think they all look and feel fine. Here's my DJ 36 Turn-O-Graph.

I don’t tire of seeing this fine watch. Great choice Mr Cooper.

I also have a 6” wrist and just bought a 36mm day date yesterday. It’s the current model so can’t comment exactly about sizing but I think you will be fine.

One trick I learned through my AD is to flip the clasp and it fits waaaayyyy better on small wrists on older models that didn’t have as many removable links on the 6 o’clock side. I did that on my older 36mm explorer and it worked really well.

I wish I'd learned that trick sooner. Thank you so much!!! I've been wearing my Kermit loose because of the awkward clasp and now it's fixed! I actually had a permanent link removed from my 16700 to fix this. I can't believe I didn't realize this sooner.

Welcome! It’s a useful trick for us with small wrists.

My wrist is same size as yours, 6"/154mm, and I find that the DD40 fits well -- not too big at all, if you're considering that one too. I can wear a 36 (and do like 36mm watches that other brands make), but in the absence of a 38mm version, I'd take the 40.

Also, this is best adjustment for me:

Wow that looks amazing. 40mm is my limit. Will consider.

I have a 7.5" wrist and rock a 36mm 18038.

But I will say on the 18038 bracelet, the smallest it gets without entering removal of permanent links, is about 6.75". I have a total of 3 links that I could remove from mine still.

Hope that helps

I think this is tue of all the 5-digit DDs.
OTOH, with some digging (and link-counting of photos), maybe you could make opportunity from this “problem,” by hunting examples with permanent links already removed - These do bring less $.

36mm always

I have 6 permanent links @6 and 11 permanent @ 12.

Not including the SEL

Not including the Clasp connection on both ends.

Here is an example of me trying a 36mm DD on my 15,5 cm (6,1 in wrist). To me more important is the feeling, as 40mm imo looks ok but feels too large and digs in your hand.
36mm looks and fits perfect !

36mm takes the cake for me. Looks the most elegant in my opinion on my 6.5 inch wrist compared to the 40mm which lets you know I've got a big rolex on my wrist
