5513 meters first dial serial
In an effort to learn more about the submariner 5513, I have been reading about them, and studying examples. This 5513 on eBay caught my eye.
It’s a meters first dial, But with a 2385710 serial. From my reading the meters first dials ended around the 2.2 range. Is this later serial close enough or does it seem like something is off? I also noticed there is no hash mark at the 6 o’clock on the dial. That also struck me as out of the normal. Thoughts? eBay listing for ref. https://www.ebay.com/itm/203336939309 |

The serial is pretty high, but I guess it could be legit. The texture of the lume looks off to me, and obviously the insert is a later service part.

That’s a good thought on the lume. It reminded me of the flat lume referenced on 5513mattedial but the more I look at it, it does seem weird, not sure how to explain it
