Explorer 39mm valuation

In your opinion....

Does the release of the new 36mm updated Explorer increase or decrease the value of the 39mm version?

It will cause the price of the 39mm to increase.

Why would it decrease?

It won't decrease, if history is any guide.

I don’t think it will. Asking for other opinions.

Prices have already increased and if history is any indicator of future performance(relative to most discontinued Rolex models), it will continue to increase. It is and was a most beloved size and model.

I think they already have increased and Rolex isn't making more of them.

Very few people wear 36mm in real world. So, obvious they will try to buy discontinued 39mm. No brainer!
