I hope this isn’t the equivalent of “buying a car made on a Friday” during Pandemic Social distancing the in the workplace. Less people same amount of work?

Anyway, Rolex will straighten it out, and at least they do not have to mess with the movement.

Specs of dust?

It's probably just unchecked nose water drip from an unwell technician. Hopefully it is corrected by a competent Rolex watchmaker.

Just to let you guys know what happened, AD sent watch to Rolex Fedex overnight, Rolex replaced the crystal, and pressure test and then Fedexed it directly back to me (at my request). Everything good. Total turn around time, 4 days !

Yikes, that is totally unacceptable. Do NOT accept a 'service' crystal replacement. I think I might opt for a new watch, not a repair.

It's not a big deal to me. Just a daily driver watch, nothing special or sentimental to me.

If it was my 16700, different story.
