Not sourcing the dial, buying the watch with baguettes. Sorry if my post was misleading. I was curious of those who had bought the chocolate sundials but now wanting to change to the baguette dial.

Might have missed it in the thread but have you looked into just swapping the whole watch with a Grey dealer? Yours + $xxx for a new Plat with Bag.
Not sure how much a trade would be but could be worth paying the difference and getting to enjoy it much quicker and with less drama/doubt. |

To your question, I’ve thought about the switch just for a change of pace and variety, but I do on paper like the subdials over the non contrast subdials. Obviously all preference. |

The reference no. of both with or without baguette are the same number and if you have RSC change the dial for you, it should be the same as original.
Some ADs indicated the baguette on the warranty card some didn't, I think it depends on each country and each AD. The reference number only should be good enough.

No it wouldn’t really affect true value. From the current grey market it actually enhances value more than the immediate cost of switching dials. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

The hands are different, depending on the dial. I have the “standard” version and wouldn’t trade for the baguette (personal preference).
Buy what you like, not what is presently trending on Chrono24. |

I doubt this would be the case since the watch would have been put to the new configuration by Rolex, which means it then becomes the baguette diamond dial watch. At $7,300, there is no way Rolex allows him to keep the original dial. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
