Zenith A384 Revival or A386 Manufacture Edition?
Hey All,
I have been looking at a Zenith for a long time now. Big fan of their heritage and the history behind the El Primero movement. Considering my collection below, which one would you personally pick? A384 Revival or the A386 Manufacturer's Edition? For me it’s the a384. Zenith has now made many tributes to the a386 but that a384 case, especially on a ladder bracelet is the cat’s meow.

I find most of the El Primeros look the same as there had been many variations similar to the A386, with the colour, round case and overlapping sub-dials, just different sizes, with or without date and open heart or not. Nothing wrong with classics, I had wanted one of those for a long time.
But when I was out shopping for it, the A384 came to my attention and as soon as I tried it on, it gave me a better feel than the regular El Primeros, maybe personal preference but it is comfortable, legible, beautiful movement, unique shape (all my watches are round) and just great design overall! At the end of the day, you've got to try them on. I am still unable to buy a watch online yet as trying them on really makes a huge difference. They all look amazing in the pictures, that is marketing! JasTPE |

Agreed, trying it on would be the best thing. I don't think we have any Zenith dealers in Seattle but I know Rodeo carries them in Vancouver. Who knows when the border opens up for travel without the 14 day quarantine though.
Congrats on your A384, it looks fantastic, and interesting. |

I would go for the Manufacture. However what is the difference between manufacture and the normal 38mm chronomaster which is available with a steep discount now?

Did you ever end up getting either? In the market for the A386 Manufacturer now. Just concerned about diameter potentially being too small.
