he said the colour on the 9k bronze gold model is not stable and will turn to pink after a certain period of time. anyone think this is going to be a deal breaker? i think this is a very nice watch in the video.

I don't know what to think about this 'bronze gold' seamaster. I'm no metallurgy expert, but how can you say it's a bronze type of alloy if there is no tin involved in the manufacturing process? It seems more like a 9k gold watch to me that somewhat looks like bronze and will patina in a slower and less dramatic fashion than the greenish hues of actual bronze. It looks great, don't get me wrong, but the marketing on this one is kinda murky in my opinion.

I like it though I probably won't like the price.

I think the more interesting innovation is the little cavity where the bracelet integrates into the case. The way Omega designed the integration. you know longer need to worry about visible scratches on the lug underside where they meet.

Would be a wonderful watch without the fake patina.

Well it is a new alloy they created so I get your confusion. Perhaps it was labeled that way as a marketing effort. They can't market a 9k watch as just gold in the US. Has to be 10k.

Excellent and informative video. Thanks for posting. Wow I love the bronze/gold model more and more. Such a cool watch. Love that they went with the ceramic bezel and arrow second hand on this particular model. The color of the top layer of the dial and the bottom super luminova looks so good with the color of the case.

I'm gonna wait and see if these pop up on the preowned market and try to add one then. It's just a little more than I want to spend on this piece but I really think they did a great job with it.

As for the change in color over time, I don't have a problem with it. Adds to the character of the watch. I like that it moves in the pink direction instead of getting darker. I would be curious to know how long it takes for the color to significantly change? Also let's say in 5-10 years I don't like they way the color has changed - can it be restored easily to the original color at servicing does anyone know? Is that a difficult process or simply just a polishing?

I love these new 300s. I am typically a ceramic bezel fan, but the aluminum bezel goes well with the black and blue versions here. All of these are winners in my book, but I’m currently leaning towards the blue.

I love the look of them but they are really tall and don't seem to sit well on the wrist.

Does this little detail bother anybody other than me? The lack of lume on all but the end of the hour hand sort of bugs me. I know it's consistent with the way they have done it for years but my eyes keep getting drawn to it. For balance I think I would prefer the entire hour hand to be lumed. With the arrow head on the end I don't think it would be likely to be confused with the minutes hand in diving situations. Not a deal breaker, but something I noticed. Seems to be most noticeable on the bronze-gold model.

I do very much like the 'vintage' styling.

As for the change in color over time , I have to think
Omega knows not to produce watches where any colour change
would be over decades, not years??
