I bought mine when I was at my bachelor party in Vegas. After winning a good amount of money on craps I strolled over to the Rolex boutique and bought it right when it came out. It doesn’t bother me at all that they brought it back. Like some of the other post it’s the OG. When I wear that watch it reminds me of all the great times I had in Vegas.

Oh and yes, there are people who will prefer previous generation Subs over the current one. Or they just don't care about the newest watch out there.

I don’t think you have figured it out yet, have you?

It is not the “collector crowd” that has driven up the prices of Batman’s on jubilee or oyster, Pepsi’s, or even Daytonas. It is the Instagram crowd that has. Ask any true “watch collector” — they are the ones grumbling that Rolexes are over inflated. To them, a Batman may be worth $1,000-$2,000 over list price. A Daytona may be worth $6,000-$8,000 over list. They are not the ones paying the nutso prices. It’s the influencers and wealthy ... not true watch collectors.

If the influence crowd leaves, you will see a dramatic drop in prices across all lines. And it is the influencer crowd that wants the latest and greatest (including warranties).

I’m lucky, I have the new BLNR on both bracelets. Better, newer watch and multiple looks. I switch bracelets between my Daytona and BLNR (I also have a RubberB for it too). Sometimes Daytona on jubilee (which looks stunning) and sometimes new BLNR on oyster. Got love that their lug width is same.

I guarantee you that my BLNR would sell for more than yours on the open market.
