Incoming Fifty Fathoms
Got this a couple of weeks ago, posted some pics on another thread, but never did an actual incoming thread. The titanium case is very light and the blue dial is a wonderful dark blue that looks almost black in low light. 45mm wears smaller than you think and is very comfortable.

I have both the Fifty Fathoms Standard and the Fifty Fathoms flyback. Both wear smaller than their overall size. I like that they are antimagnetic. I avoided the Titanium version because it isn't antimagnetic. The standard has a 120 hr power reserve which is also handy. Both of mine have the standard sailcloth strap with a deployant and They are comfortable and straps wear like iron. The only fly in the ointment for most is that to change the strap you need a pair of special tools. They don't use spring bars which is also a plus in my mind. Tools can be had cheap on Ebay or much more expensive from Blancpain. Enjoy them

Conratulations ! the Ti FF is absolutely drop dead beautiful ! I wish the TI bracelet version had launched earlier, I would have taken it over the steel any day.

I thought that, despite lacking the anitimagnetic cage of the closed back, steel version, the titanium versions were also antimagnetic by virtue of their silicone mainsprings ? I got my bracelet removal tools from Amazon- Wera 118062 .9mm hex screwdrivers -$4.97 each. So only a $10 ointmented fly, and I've switched between bracelet and straps many times.

Beautiful watch, congrats. How do you like the sailcloth strap? As comfortable as advertised?

Love Blancpain, I had the Fifthy Fathoms Bathyscaphe for a bit and still regret letting it go. It was subtle and easy to read and a fun watch to wear on vacation - enjoy yours! I'm sure it'll be traveling with you quite a bit after this pandemic is over.

It's been a few months since you got the FF; I'm curious if you're still in the honeymoon stage and how often the watch is being worn in rotation? Also, what's your wrist size? I'm familiar with the 43mm Bathy on wrist (loved it!) and am curious how this slightly larger piece is for longer-term wear... |

I HIGHLY recommend to anyone who thinks this 45mm case might be too big for them, without trying it on, to go to the boutique and strap one on. It wears closer to a 41, maybe 42 in my opinion and is extremely comfortable on the wrist. Beautiful watch....Enjoy it!
