My Rolex 5512 Gilt

I finally got a Rolex Submariner 5512 courtesy of a gentleman from Australia who is also a member of this forum. Its a 1962 model with pointed crown guard and glossy gilt chapter ring dial. The watch has a lot of character as it was heavily used by the first owner as a dive watch. Obvious pitting due to salt corrosion especially between lugs but the case is untouched except for some cleaning and light hand polish. The faded bezel gives it that vintage appeal that i look for and the dial despite its busy life is in awesome condition. Many thanks Phil(T5AUS) for the opportunity of acquiring your beautiful watch. Another fantastic addition to my collection.

The watch was used by the original owner for its intended purpose as a dive watch.
