Bracelet Restoration (Thanks!)
A while back, I posted about a very nice 1970s linen dial DateJust I had just bought, and in particular asked some questions about the bracelet. Thanks to the folks here, especially Springer, I learned that it was also from the 1970s, oval links USA, and worth saving.
It was unbelievably stretched, to the point that some previous owner had additional holes drilled into the clasp pocket. For me, it was unwearable without taking out at least three links. The clasp pocket sides were bent, too. For a new watch adventure (by an old collector, that’s me), I shipped it to RolliWorks for restoration. It arrived back yesterday in fantastic shape. So, here’s a shout out to TRF for the help and to RolliWorks for a great job. And a complete pleasure to deal with; great communication throughout. |

That looks great! I too got my TT oval link bracelet refurbished at Rolliworks, very happy with the results.

I didn’t have a “before” picture. Yours looks about right; thanks for sharing.

It came back almost a full inch shorter. I had to buy an extra link. I didn't send the head of the watch in with the bracelet so the end link fit is a little loose still. I just assumed they would fit it to another case. Nope. It's definitely where the jangly sound comes from.

Looks fantastic. Well with saving. Really maintains the vintage look.
