Nato strap question
I noticed many Nato straps have enough to extra strap length to back the strap a second time through the rings. It seems others do not. Does looping the strap back through a second time add a safety feature. For example, could the strap somehow back away from the buckle pin and the entire watch fall off your wrist but that wouldn’t happen with the strap pulled back through the rings a second time. Hopefully my question makes sense.

I just loop mine back through because if not the end would stick out too far. Looping back provides a cleaner look in my opinion.

I don't think it's a safety feature. Natos, like most military issue gear, is made as a one size fits all. It's made to work with every soldier no matter how short, tall, big, small, fat, or thin. The "proper" way is to double it back though the inside.

Get a Zulu strap.Much better IMHO.Single pass.I never found the NATO to be "safer".
